**Job Purpose**

The position is responsible for handling International Bandwidth related procurement and contracts with International and Domestic Vendors. The Job involves negotiations for new and existing products/services related to International Bandwidth (Submarine Cable) and Annual Lease Contracts, T-Segment, Annual Opex Rate Negotiations on Bandwidth, ILD Voice Contracts, messaging services etc.

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- Sourcing of Voice + Internet B/W from global /domestic players on undersea Submarine Cable systems. Contracts negotiations on Long term IRU basis.
- RFP generation, Vendor evaluation and Selection.
- Conducting Negotiations/Comparative analysis of vendor quotes and finalisation basis qualitative and quantitative parameters.
- Designing and vetting of contracts for services wherever applicable.
- Discussions with User Teams / Legal for Agreement signoffs.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- Core Competency of Procurement across multiple areas of Enterprise business & Network Services.
- Technical understanding at par with the Network Users and negotiating with the Vendor for the best commercial deal for the Organization.
- Leveraging knowledge, reskilling and acquiring new knowledge to refine and improve current procurement Service costs.
- Basic knowledge of functioning of telecom network infrastructure used in telecom service business.
- Innovative thinking and implementation in areas of Automations, Special projects & Network Services.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams for effective process functioning and delivery

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**
