Launched in 2025 and headquartered in Mumbai, Jio BLAST is assembling a passionate, ambitious, and creative team. This is your opportunity to be part of shaping BLAST's vision for esports in India. This role will lead our Marketing, Social & Comms efforts - across both the Jio BLAST business and the consumer-facing tournaments and entertainment brands we create.
You will be both a strategic marketing leader and a hands-on doer. In the early days you'll be driving campaigns, writing posts, crafting narratives and building decks yourself - while also setting the marketing strategy, working with partners and building a growing team.
You'll market Jio BLAST to publishers, brands and partners - and you'll also lead the charge in growing large-scale Indian fan communities around our consumer brands and tournaments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing strategy and execution across Marketing, Social Media and Communications/PR
- Build the Jio BLAST corporate brand: marketing the JV to publishers, partners and brands
- Own consumer marketing and audience growth for Jio BLAST tournaments and entertainment brands
- Drive social media strategy and content across key platforms for both B2B and B2C efforts
- Build and manage relationships with key media and press
- Create compelling B2B materials and pitch narratives for publisher and brand partners
- Collaborate with Production, Commercial and IP Development teams to ensure marketing is integrated into product and event design
- Manage and grow a Marketing & Comms team over time
Requirements
- Deep understanding or willingness to learn about India's gaming, esports and youth culture landscape; you know the platforms, the audiences and what resonates
- Proven experience across Marketing, Social, and Comms/PR - ideally in fast-moving digital consumer brands or entertainment
- Ability to operate at all levels - strategic thinking and planning, but also able and willing to roll up sleeves and do the work
- Experience building large engaged consumer audiences across social and digital platforms
- Excellent writing, storytelling and creative skills across formats
- Strong B2B marketing capability and experience working with commercial stakeholders
- Ability to build relationships with media, publishers and partners
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Track record of building and leading teams
