The role
At Qs, the Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the product meets customer needs and business objectives. This would entail the Product Owner working with the Product Manager to ensure the product backlog is aligned with the product vision and strategy, with relevant stakeholders to ensure cross-team alignment, and
with the development team to ensure that product requirements are clear and delivered to the highest
quality.

Role responsibilities:

- Tracking and analyzing metrics such as number of registrations, connections and connections/client, and using this data to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development.
- Utilizing our research capabilities to test and learn, iterating on our product through user feedback and insights
- Running workshops with stakeholders to agree on the focus user needs or pain-points
- Taking a significant user need or pain-point and prioritizing the right solution given customer jobs-to-be-done and business objectives
- Defining user stories alongside relevant stakeholders to guide the development of product features.
- Set up success metrics to help measure the success of the product and track progress towards business objectives.
- Collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to align on roadmaps/plans, unblock development, and communicate changes
- Coordinating across multiple organisational dependencies to deliver successful implementation
- Delivering against the roadmap through an agile, collaborative approach with your technology partners
- Working autonomously through the backlog while making sure that features get delivered quickly and efficiently

Key skills and experience:

- 3+ years of experience as a product owner with a track record of delivering successful software products.
- Follow product management best practices and use innovative frameworks/ways of working
- Be a proficient user of product management tools in particular Jira and Miro.
- Able to clearly document both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to prioritise product features.
- Have customer-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding and meeting user needs
- Familiar with working in outcome driven environments and working with business teams to develop shared OKRs
- Comfortable in complex situations, working with ambiguity and solving difficult problems
- Have a strong sense of accountability and ownership, with a willingness to take responsibility for the success of the product and its features.
- Have excellent communication skills and can adapt your communication approach to different stakeholders
