**The role**:
Product Owner is responsible for owning the Product Development process for the ActiveOps ControliQ Product.

As Product Owner you will lead the prioritisation of ‘customer focused’ improvements across the breadth of the product. You will meet with customers and ensure ActiveOps continues to focus on improving the product in areas which increase the value of the solution to them, and ultimately make it easier to sell, and also reduce any potential churn.

You will build and gather detailed requirements working ‘hand in glove’ with development, and other internal teams to ensure whatever is prioritised for development is ‘fit for purpose’ and clear on what is needed to execute.

Ensure there is a simple way to provide thoughts and suggestions on areas of improvement both internally and from customers, and that there is a defined feedback loop on what is being progressed further and what may not be.

As Product Owner you may be required to represent at Product Board on new idea concepts, and present more detailed business requirements.

You will also be required to build out a ‘fail fast’ process for all new features being built.

You will need to be commercially minded in your approach to where development time is focused and be able to articulate the anticipated returns on investment of improvements being made.

As a person you are curious, logical, analytical and love crafting solutions for complex problems.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Spearhead end-to-end agile development process for the ControliQ Product
- Own the shaping of the ControliQ Product Roadmap and conceptualise new requirements
- Represent the ControliQ product internally to senior stakeholders at key business meetings
- Work directly with customers to ensure needs and areas of value are understood, and ensure any prioritised areas of development can be clearly aligned to increasing this value
- Increasing the product ARR, and reducing the current churn, with evidence of product improvements linked to improving sales and reducing losses
- Work with Solutions Team, which includes Product Owners, UI/UX Designers & Tech Authors, to constantly innovate consistent solutions that fit customer needs
- Manage and prioritise development backlog
- Clearly articulate customer needs to the Development Team
- Support Development Team with answers they need from rest of the business to deliver a successful Product
- Manage sprint commitments and communicate sprint status to stakeholders
- Manage new requirements in customer support queue for Products owned

**Skills and experience**:

- Three to Five years of experience in Agile Software Development as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Quality Assurance Analyst. However would also consider those with a proven knowledge of the ActiveOps Product suite as an offset to the PO experience
- Product mindset with heart at delivering the best for our customers

- Commercial knowledge and understanding of ‘Go to Market’ strategies
