**Job Title**:Principal Enterprise Architect**: Experience : 16-21 Years

Location : Pune

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the technology /"north star/" aligned with business goals, establishing target architectures for stores, fueling & charging, supply chains, and customer engagement. Drive market-focused strategy, competitive analysis, benchmarking, and innovation in partnership with delivery teams.
- Serve as the design authority for solution architectures and vendor selection, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Provide oversight, governance, and approvals to maintain consistency, scalability, and technical integrity.
- Lead initiatives to improve code quality, optimize cloud costs, automate development/testing, and mature AWS cloud practices. Promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to strengthen operational excellence.
- Build comprehensive, modular business architectures that accelerate value through reuse and connectivity. Deep expertise in POS, payment processing, head office systems, and supply chain management.
- Develop practical, scalable, and reusable technical solutions aligned with digital strategies, ensuring robust design and execution.
- A hands-on technologist with a passion for continuous learning and assessing emerging technologies with a commercial focus. Facilitate digital transformation with scalable, innovative solutions.
- Advocate for operational safety and digital security, embedding safety, compliance, and security standards across designs and processes.

Requisites:

- Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, resolve issues, and drive effective solutions.
- Self-starter with the capability to navigate ambiguity, manage uncertainty, assess risks, and identify the right resources and tools to deliver results.
- Hands-on experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, customer care, billing, and other retail technologies.
- Familiarity with retail ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, and merchandising platforms like ESO.
- Deep retail business expertise, particularly within the energy and CPG/FMCG sectors, driving transformational initiatives focused on growth and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance standards including PCI, PADSS, and other relevant frameworks.
- Proven experience working within high-performing, collaborative delivery teams to achieve exceptional project outcomes in a respectful and supportive environment.
- Advocate for open communication and transparency, fostering a culture where feedback is shared candidly to enable continuous learning.
- Champion a culture of change and agility, continuously evolving to adapt to dynamic business landscapes.
