Role Purpose:
To manage the day to day operations of clay blending plant. To ensure safe operation and deliver the desired production as per the quality.
**Responsibilities**:
1) Day to Day plant activities:
Lead a team of members to deliver the following:
- Production planning- Manpower planning- Raw material and accessories planning- Maintenance planning- Plant operations including maintenance management- Manpower management- Coordination with commercial team for planning and despatches- SAP entry of production, maintenance details- Daily, monthly and yearly reports as requested by the management- Tool Box Talk about safety, training of people on safety- Supervise and implement lean management tools to ensure optimum utilisation of plant, energy and people- Assist Operation Director in budget preparation - Assist in New product development- Coordinate with local vendors for spare parts and consumables- Contractor management
2) Support activities:
Perform following support activities:
- Manage various warehouses performing many activities- Support finance by submitting all invoices, GRNs on time- Ensure attendance reports sent to HR department on time- Adhere strictly to all compliances related PCB, electricity, labor and factory inspector, Tax authorities etc
3) Safety:
Must quickly learn Sibelco’s safety regulations and start practicing them at the earliest
About you:
- Engineering graduate (Mechanical or Electrical)- Minimum 5 years Industrial working experience (Prefer people with Clay processing background)- Knowledge of Lean management/quality management- Proficiency in English, Hindi and Gujarati
