Work Experiences : 3 to 7 yrs

**Duties**:

- To carry out inspections on site to determine hazardous situations. To create regulations and policies to overcome them.
- To evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards and develop strategies to control risks in the workplace.
- To inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and those for the handling and storage of hazardous substances.
- Review physical, biological and chemical workplace hazards
- Conduct safety and environmental audit.
- Investigate health-and-safety-related complaints, spills of hazardous chemicals, outbreaks of diseases or poisonings, and workplace accidents
- Inspect workplaces to ensure that equipment, materials and production processes do not present a safety or health hazard to employees or the general public
- Develop, implement and evaluate health and safety programs and strategies
- Provide consultation and deliver training programs to construction industry employers and employees on issues of workplace safety and (depending on the project) environmental protection

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- To aware employees at construction site about health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

Required Skills & Knowledge:

- Must have knowledge about site safety rules in construction sector
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
