**Job Description and Qualifications**

**II. **III. DIMENSIONS**:
The position is expected to be based full time on AP Construction site within India**IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This position is accountable for the following end results:
- Prepare and implement site specific EHS documents (EHS Plan, Emergency response plan, waste management plan, Traffic management plan, HSE instructions and procedures)
- Review and approve sub-contractor EH&S documents, EHS personnel, crew on special tasks
- Ensure implementation of AP EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures at site
- Ensure compliance of AP EH&S KPI’s on site
- Provide EHS inputs in approving heavy lift & standard lifting plans for normal and critical lifts on site
- Prepare EHS legal register and ensure all EHS statutory and regulatory requirements are complied to at site
- Organize and lead site safety committee meetings and ensure that points raised during the meeting are properly closed
- Prepare HSE training plan and HSE training presentations for specific task (e.g. Work at height, Confined space etc)
- Conduct/ ensure HSE training, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills are implemented
- Prepare job safety analysis for site activities along with contractor and required team members
- Report safety statistics, Track and provide regular EHS performance reporting in the prescribed format on weekly/monthly basis to Home office
- Conduct EHS trainings and orientation for all new employees & train sub-contractor EHS officers for imparting training to the respective staff/workmen
- Develop worksite EHS campaigns along with contractor and ensure its implementation at site
- Organize and lead EHS promotions program at site
- Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Incident/Accident Investigation
- Conduct and lead HSE walkthroughs and HSE inspections at site
- Ensure nonconformities/ observations received via HSE audit from Home office, Customer and external agency are closed by taking appropriate corrective actions
- Identify significant environmental aspects for the site activities and develop an action plan to reduce their environmental impacts
- Works towards digitalization of HSE aspects e.g Developing virtual training tools, Using RFID on site etc
- Promote reporting of near miss, unsafe act and conditions at site by conducting campaigns

**V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or science graduate & Industrial Safety from reputed Institute
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification
- Possess certificate of First Aider from recognized Institute
- Min 8 - 10 years relevant experience in handling EHS at construction sites
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Lead auditor of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 preferred
- Good business communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Management system requirements and implementation.
- Look for new inventions in field of HSE, try to digitalize HSE aspects
- Excellent MS Office skills particularly in Excel, Words and Power point.
- Able to work independently and meticulous
- Team player and excellent problem solving skills
