**Position Summary**: The Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing the operation of plant equipment and machinery to ensure efficient production processes in a safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant manner. This role involves monitoring, controlling, and maintaining various systems in a manufacturing or industrial facility, ensuring that plant operations run smoothly, products are produced to specifications, and safety standards are upheld.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor machinery, equipment, and control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Monitor plant performance through control panels and computerized systems, adjusting settings as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and systems to identify any issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems, coordinating with maintenance teams to repair or replace faulty equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment status, and operational parameters.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations to ensure safe work practices.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery, to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Monitor and adjust chemical or material flows, temperatures, pressures, and other operational variables to meet production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams to optimize plant efficiency and resolve production issues.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new operators or team members.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products, adhering to quality control procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and reduce downtime.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial technology, mechanical engineering) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing, power plants, or related industries.
- Familiarity with plant machinery, equipment, and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and operating manuals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Basic computer skills for monitoring systems and record-keeping.

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to high temperatures, noise, and industrial machinery.
- May involve shift work, weekends, and on-call duties depending on the plant's operational schedule.
- Occasional lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in confined or elevated spaces may be required.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
