Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jamnagar for a Desk Engineer/Unit Controller in the 1200 MW Power Plant operations. In this role, responsibilities include monitoring and controlling plant operations to ensure efficient and safe performance. The candidate will be expected to operate equipment, manage emergencies, and analyze operational data to optimize plant systems. Collaboration with other teams and adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards will also be essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Power Plants and Power Generation operations, with a strong understanding of plant processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of Thermal Power Plants and Steam-based power generation.
  • Proficiency in managing equipment related to Electricity generation and distribution.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and address operational anomalies effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in power plant operations is essential.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering or related fields, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or power systems.
  • Prior experience working in a large-scale power plant facility is preferred.
