The Credit Control cum Recovery Executive is responsible for managing the credit

control and recovery processes within the publication house. This role involves

monitoring and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from customers,

minimizing bad debts, and maintaining a healthy cash flow for the organization.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from customers, ensuring timely

collection.

2. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, invoices, and payments.

3. Review and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

4. Set credit limits for customers based on their credit history and payment behavior.

5. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing or

payment issues.

6. Prepare and send payment reminders, statements, and demand letters to

customers.

7. Negotiate and implement payment plans or settlements with delinquent

customers.

8. Initiate legal actions or engage external collection agencies for recovery, if

necessary.

9. Conduct regular credit reviews to identify potential risks and take appropriate

actions.

10. Collaborate with the finance team to improve credit control processes and

policies.

11. Prepare regular reports on outstanding payments, collections, and bad debts for

management review.

12. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit control and

recovery.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in credit control and recovery, preferably in a publication house

or related industry.

3. Strong knowledge of credit control principles, financial analysis, and debt

collection practices.

4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

5. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

7. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

9. Knowledge of legal regulations related to credit control and recovery is a plus.

10. Professional certification in credit management or debt collection is desirable.
