Special Educator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Individualized Instruction**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide tailored instruction and support to meet the unique learning requirements of each student.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and progress.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust instructional strategies based on student performance and feedback.
- Document and report on student progress, including preparing detailed reports and IEP reviews.
- **Classroom and Behavior Management**:

- Create and maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to address challenges and promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with general education teachers, school counselors, and other specialists to ensure integrated support for students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' progress, goals, and strategies for support.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant school meetings.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about the latest trends, research, and best practices in special education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in working with students with special needs.
- **Support and Advocacy**:

- Advocate for the needs and rights of students with disabilities within the school environment.
- Provide support and resources to help students develop self-advocacy skills and independence.
- Collaborate with external agencies and community resources as needed to support students and their families.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, progress, and IEP documentation.
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation as required by school and regulatory standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or license in Special Education (if applicable).

**Experience**:

- Proven experience working with students with special needs in a school or educational setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
