**Job Summary**:
The Legal Officer in Real Estate is responsible for providing legal support and guidance on real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, leases, sales, financing, and development. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and the ability to mitigate legal risks while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Legal Advice and Support**:

- Provide legal advice to internal teams on real estate transactions, disputes, and general property-related matters.
- Assist in structuring and drafting real estate agreements, such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, sale deeds, and joint ventures.
- Review and negotiate terms of contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- **Due Diligence and Risk Management**:

- Conduct legal due diligence on properties, including title searches, zoning issues, land use regulations, and property rights.
- Identify potential legal risks in real estate transactions and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are in place for real estate developments.
- **Litigation and Dispute Resolution**:

- Represent the company in legal disputes related to real estate matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, property claims, and breach of contract issues.
- Work with external counsel when necessary to manage litigation or arbitration proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods.
- **Contract Management**:

- Draft, review, and revise real estate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure that contracts align with legal standards, company policies, and the business's objectives.
- Maintain an organized record of all real estate-related contracts and legal documentation.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Management**:

- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s real estate transactions comply with local, state, and national regulations.
- Provide guidance on compliance with property laws, environmental regulations, and tax implications related to real estate transactions.
- **Real Estate Transactions**:

- Manage and oversee the legal aspects of property acquisitions, disposals, leases, and financing.
- Liaise with external legal advisors, government agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Ensure timely closing of real estate deals and compliance with contractual terms.
- **Internal Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other departments such as finance, project management, and operations to ensure that legal considerations are incorporated into real estate strategies and decisions.
- Advise on legal implications related to the company’s real estate portfolio and business plans.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
