**Role: Legal Officer - Real Estate (Mumbai)**

**Location: Andheri (East), Mumbai**

**CTC- 9-10 LPA**

**Working days
- 6 days working 2nd and 4 th Saturday off**

**- 5+ years experience with a focus on real estate law and transactions.**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Officer to join our real estate team in Mumbai. The Legal Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and providing expert legal advice in various matters related to real estate transactions and property development projects.

**Job role**:
**Drafting Documents and Review**:

- Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including sale agreements, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, development agreements, MOU’s and other documents.
- Identify potential legal risks and propose suitable contractual clauses to mitigate those risks.

**Legal Compliance**:

- Review and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to real estate and property transactions.
- Monitor changes in relevant legal frameworks and update internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Ensure that all real estate activities adhere to the necessary legal requirements.

**Due Diligence**:

- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on properties and projects to identify any potential legal issues or liabilities.
- Provide recommendations based on due diligence findings and work on resolving any identified issues.

**Litigation Management**:

- Collaborate with external legal counsel to manage litigation and dispute resolution related to real estate matters.
- Assist in representing the company's interests in legal proceedings and negotiations.

**Regulatory Approvals**:

- Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals from relevant authorities for real estate development projects.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with zoning, environmental, and other relevant regulations.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
**- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university. A master's degree (LL.M.) in Real Estate Law or related field is a plus.**

**- 5+ years experience with a focus on real estate law and transactions.**
- Strong understanding of Mumbai's real estate laws, RERA regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough due diligence and property title verification.
- Experience in handling litigation and dispute resolution related to real estate matters.
- Familiarity with property development processes, including regulatory approvals.

**- Membership in the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa is preferred.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
