**Job Title**: Sr Manager/ DGM Compliance

**Location**: Mumbai

**About the Client**:PSS has been mandated to hire a Sr Manager/ DGM Compliance for a large Indian pharma company with Global Operations.

**Job Purpose**:Lead Compliance functions for Sales, Marketing and Commercial on a pan India basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring processes and transactions performed in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable requirements.
- Provides guidance in the areas of marketing activities of a pharmaceutical company
- Interaction with HCPs and HCI’s.
- Review compliance controls in existing business practices, analyze relevant corporate or field-based data to assess healthcare compliance risks and suggest corrective action plans.
- Develop and execute monitoring plans, conduct periodic reviews of documentation and transaction to support risk awareness, detection and prevention goals.
- Draft meaningful reports related to risk assessment and monitoring activities.
- Partner with relevant departments and / or follow up with respective functions for execution of mitigation plan for identified gaps.
- Proactively monitor evolving Indian Healthcare environment, enforcement trends and compliance programs of other pharmaceutical companies to identify and share insights within Compliance team.
- Stakeholder and relationship management within the team and across functions to strengthen positive culture towards compliance.
- Travel: national travel
- Reporting to a CCO

**Educational Qualifications And Experience**:

- 10-20 years of with significant experience in a pharmaceutical company managing India compliance, audit or legal
- Experience in interpretation of relevant industry regulations and guidance documents is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high energy organization.
- Needs to have excellent communication, interpersonal, coordination and documentation skills
- Experience managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines is required.
- Persuasive and Influencing skills
- Decision-making and creative problem-solving approach
- Analytical skills
