Jira Project Coordinator

As a Jira Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the project management team in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects using the Jira project management tool. Your experience will be instrumental in maintaining project documentation, coordinating tasks, and facilitating effective communication within the project team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Understanding the key concepts of service management
2. Understanding the ServiceNow experience is an add-on
3. Project Documentation: Create, update, and maintain project documentation in Jira, including project plans, requirements, user stories, and other project-related assets.
4. Task Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and priorities.
5. Jira Administration: Manage and configure Jira, including setting up custom workflows, fields, and boards, to support project needs.
6. Status Tracking: Monitor project progress within Jira and provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
7. Issue Tracking: Manage and track project issues and risks, and ensure they are properly documented and addressed.
8. Communication: Facilitate communication among project team members, ensuring that information flows effectively to support project execution.
9. Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
10. Support: Provide support to team members on Jira best practices, troubleshooting, and usage.
11. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the project management team to improve project management processes and workflows within Jira.
12. Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Project Management, Business, Information Technology).
2. 4-5 years of experience in project coordination, with a focus on using Jira for project management.
3. Proficiency in Jira and its capabilities, including workflow configuration and customization.
4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective team collaboration.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Knowledge of project management tools and software.
9. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project coordination.
