We are looking for Glass cutting machine operator. (Out of Gujarat)

Position: Glass cutting Machine Operator.

Department: Production/ Manufacturing

Reports To: Production Supervisor/ Manager

Job Overview:
The Glass Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining glass cutting machinery to accurately cut glass sheets into specified dimensions for various products. The role requires precision, attention to details, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure to safety protocols to ensure high-quality production and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation:

- Operate glass cutting machines (automatic or manual) to cut glass sheets according to design specifications.
- Adjust Machine setting such as speed, cutting pressure, and cutting tools to ensure precision.

2. Measurement & Marking:

- Measure glass sheets accurately using rulers, calipers, or digital measuring tools.
- Mark cutting lines and angles on glass to ensure proper dimensions before cutting.

3. Material Handling:

- Load and unload glass sheets onto cutting machines.
- Handle and transport glass sheets carefully to prevent breakage.

4. Quality Control:

- Inspect cut glass pieces for defects (cracks, chips, incorrect dimensions).
- Ensure that all cuts meet the required standards and tolerances.

5. Machine Maintenance:

- Perform basic maintenance on cutting machines, including cleaning and replacing worn parts.
- Report any machine malfunctions or performance issues to the supervisor.

6. Safety Compliance:

- Follow all safety guideline and wear protective gear (e.g., gloves, goggles, safety, shoes).
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards to prevent accidents.

7. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

- Address any issues related to the cutting process, such as irregular cuts or machine breakdowns.
- Adjust machines as necessary to resolve problems or ensure optimal performance.

8. Documentation & Reporting:

- Record production data, including quantities cut, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Report daily production results to the supervisor or production manager.

9. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other operators, production staff, and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in operating glass cutting machinery or similar equipment preferred but not required.

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy glass sheets.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a physically demanding environment.

Working Conditions:

- Work in a factory or manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, glass dust and other industrial conditions.
- Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.
