**Indus Parking Services (IPS)** is an emerging parking enforcement company headquartered in Gurugram, India. Our team consists of highly focused and motivated professionals with extensive expertise in parking management. We specialise in preventing unauthorised parking across commercial properties, residential complexes, and other locations. **Indus Parking Services** manages the entire parking enforcement process efficiently and also provides operational support to **Euro Parking Services**.

We are looking for an enthusiast **Accounting Intern** to join us, who will assist in managing the day-to-day cash flow of the organization, including making invoices, maintaining records of transactions, monitoring expenses, and providing reports to the management for financial analysis.

As an **Accounting Intern,** your responsibilities will include:

- Accurately input financial data into QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of payments using QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.
- Preparing and sending invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.
- Reconciling bank statements and identifying any discrepancies or errors using QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.
- Assisting with various general accounting tasks, such as preparing journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, and preparing financial reports using QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.
- Assisting in analysing financial data and preparing reports as needed using QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Senior Accounts Executive and Finance Director.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Ability to keep documents and data well organized.
- Must be based in Gurgaon or nearby (maximum 1-hour travel distance).

**Required Qualifications**:

- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- **Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or other cloud accounting software.**
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
