**Job Description - English Trainer**

**Position Overview**:
The English Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective English language training programs focused on enhancing students' WSLR (Writing, Speaking, Listening, Reading) skills. The English Trainer will be passionate about language learning, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of adult learning methodologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Teaching and Instruction:
○ Conduct needs assessments to identify students' current WSLR proficiency levels.

○ Develop and implement a comprehensive English language curriculum aligned with

the WSLR framework, catering to various student needs and learning styles.

○ Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote active participation,

critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

○ Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, role-playing

activities, group work, and technology-integrated learning.

○ Create and administer assessments to gauge student progress and track learning

outcomes.

○ Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their WSLR skills.

○ Develop and deliver soft skills training modules to complement the core English

language curriculum (e.g., communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork).

2. Mentorship and Guidance:
○ Provide one-on-one academic and personal advising and career counseling to

students.

○ Assist students in setting and achieving academic and career goals.

○ Execute students' individual educational plans, ensuring alignment with their

academic and career objectives.

○ Offer support and resources for students facing academic or personal challenges.

3. Facilitation and Coordination:
○ Coordinate with the corporate relations team and assist them for student

internships preparation. Coordinate with other department staff to plan,

organize, and implement value-creating events.

○ Assist the admissions team during enrollment by conducting interviews and

4. Leadership and Organizational Initiatives:
○ Be a champion of the organization in driving various initiatives aimed at student

and institutional development.

○ Participate in and contribute to internal and external events representing the

organization.

5. Administrative Duties:
○ Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.

○ Collaborate with other instructors and program coordinators to ensure a cohesive

learning experience.

○ Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and professional development

activities.

○ Contribute to the development and implementation of academic policies and

procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), Linguistics, or a related field

(preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to

adults.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering engaging and effective language

learning programs.
- Strong understanding of the WSLR framework and effective methods for teaching each

skill.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience using technology in the classroom (e.g., online learning platforms, interactive

tools).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions**:
The English Trainer will typically work 6 days a week, with a combination of classroom

instruction, office hours, and campus activities. Occasional evening work may be required

to support student events and initiatives.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
