Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:

- Provide Level 2 technical support at an individual contributor level

What will you be doing?
- Provide day-to-day technical direction to a production support team dedicated in supporting Digital apps.
- Run books for target systems in place, documenting procedural information to enable non-dedicated personnel to initiate & conduct trouble shooting, perform standard procedures and manage the run-time environment on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and utilize core support tools and processes to perform work while improving day-to-day practices for support team members with the goal of delivering service improvements to the business
- He/She would be required to work and communicate to senior stakeholders from various teams, RTB, BTB and other project areas.
- Serve as a team representative on leadership groups requiring team leader participation.
- Analysis and trending of incidents, root cause and other MI to allow improvement initiatives to be incepted and delivered in conjunction with Service Engagement Managers, where required. Risk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

What we’re looking for:
Qualifications /education:

- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Preferred: Any other University degrees with relevant years of IT experience.
- Essential:

- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Financial or Banking domain knowledge is a must.
- Expert level in M&A tools like AppD, TE, Netcool, Kibana, ELK
- Advanced working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Shell scripting would be added advantage.
- Proficient in SalesForce
- Excellent communication skills are necessary as there will be requirement to speak to senior stakeholders and business users on regular basis

- Must be a team Player, confident and pro-active.
