**Your Role**:
We’re looking for a bright, energetic, and self-motivated person for our Legal Department to assist with administrative and project tasks related to newly introduced laws globally, particularly those related to privacy and security. This is an ideal role for someone bright and detail oriented who is looking to get started in the technology industry.
**Your Impact**:
- Monitor privacy and security laws and regulations as they develop globally and flag important changes/recommended updates to key stakeholders
- Work cross functionally with team members within and outside of the Legal team to align our practices with legal requirements and industry standards
- Assist in the conduct of gap analyses, creation of compliance plans and drafting of legal documents to align with new laws and regulations globally, particularly those related to privacy and security
- Assist with the provision of training and circulation of knowledge to key stakeholders as needed from time to time
- Monitor status of company projects associated with new laws to ensure completion of documentation and tasks by all parties, both internal and external and to keep stakeholders informed of progress
- Monitor and update contracts, policies, customer documents, forms, presentation slides, and shared documents related to the above
- Provide ad hoc support on various legal matters related to privacy and security and other topics dealt with by the Legal team
- Perform other tasks as assigned
**Your Experience**:
- College Degree preferred (Any degree OR MBA)
- Prior experience with privacy law is welcomed but not required
- Detailed and thorough research skills
- Superb organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, formatting) and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Results-oriented, resourceful, problem-solver
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
