Zahra Tours and Travels is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic team in Calicut. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector within the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Assist in Financial Reporting**:

- Support the finance team in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Assist in the creation of reports detailing financial performance and trends.
- **Data Entry and Bookkeeping**:

- Responsible for accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions.
- Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
- **Expense Tracking**:

- Work closely with the finance team to monitor and record company expenses.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies.
- **Budgeting Support**:

- Collaborate with team members in preparing and monitoring budgetary plans.
- Participate in the analysis of budget variances and suggest corrective actions.
- **Audit Assistance**:

- Support the finance team during internal and external audits.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- **Ad-hoc Financial Projects**:

- Contribute to special financial projects as assigned by the finance manager.
- Provide analytical support for various financial initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced work environment.
