**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dispatch Operations Management**:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily dispatch schedule to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.
- Manage the loading of goods onto transport vehicles, ensuring proper handling and space optimization.
- Prepare, verify, and manage all necessary dispatch documentation, including delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, E-way bills, and gate passes.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- **Packing Monitoring & Oversight**:

- Supervise and monitor the packing department to ensure furniture products are packed correctly, securely, and according to company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy of packed goods against order specifications and packing lists.
- Work with the packing team to improve packing methods and material usage for efficiency and safety.
- Oversee the inventory management of packing materials.
- **Logistics Coordination**:

- Liaise and coordinate with third-party logistics providers (transporters, freight forwarders) for vehicle placement, shipment booking, and rate negotiation (if applicable).
- Track shipments from dispatch to delivery, providing updates to relevant internal teams (Sales, Customer Service) as needed.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle any logistics-related issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly and effectively.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end dispatch processes.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation management, and supply chain concepts.
- Experience in supervising packing operations, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements for transportation and dispatch (e.g., E-way bills).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Specific experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is highly desirable.**:

- **Knowledge of modular furniture construction, packing, and handling requirements is a significant plus.**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
