**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Menu & Recipe Development**
- Create, test, and document innovative recipes across cuisines.
- Modify and optimize recipes based on customer taste, cost, and shelf life.
- Collaborate with the R&D or operations team for **mass production adaptation**.
**Standardization & Documentation**
- Develop standard recipes (SOPs) with precise **ingredients, quantities, and methods**.
- Maintain consistent quality across batches and kitchens.
**Product Trials & Innovation**
- Conduct culinary experiments for new food product development.
- Suggest improvements for taste, texture, presentation, and health balance.
**Training & Guidance**
- Train kitchen teams and chefs on new recipes and presentation standards.
- Guide junior staff on food safety, cooking techniques, and hygiene practices.
**Food Quality & Compliance**
- Ensure food is prepared in line with **FSSAI standards**, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Monitor raw material quality and kitchen equipment functionality.
**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Expertise in **multicuisine cooking** (Indian + Continental/Asian preferred)
- Strong knowledge of **culinary techniques, nutrition, and ingredient science**:
- Experience in **food innovation, recipe cost control, and sensory evaluation**:
- Detail-oriented with excellent palate and creativity
**Qualifications**
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management / Food Science
- 5+ years experience in restaurants, hotels, food R&D, or QSR/cloud kitchen setups
- Knowledge of **food safety regulations (FSSAI, HACCP)** preferred
- Familiarity with **recipe costing software and kitchen operations tools**

- FMCG / Food R&D units
- Hospitality or Food-Tech Startups
