Position: AGM/DGM - Sales
Total Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience
Edu: B.E/B.Tech preferably with industrial selling experience.
Location: Pune
**Qualifications**:
- Playing a key role in the development and implementation of their strategy to position us as the leading technology supplier in our focus areas of Desalination, recycle reuse and zero liquid discharge in India.
- Generation of solid end user/EPC/infra market inquiries in the focus areas and closing the business jointly with integration of complete techno-commercial proposal.
- Management of regional targets, sales forecasting, assist BD efforts, competition intelligence, timely submission of proposals, pricing strategy in consultation with the management, holding independent techno-commercial discussions with clients
- Closing the business with targeted margins and fair commercial terms based on management guidelines.
- Management of day-day sales and BD function
- Completely responsible for top line and bottom line deliverables in terms of periodic targets for the given areas and for the given region of work
- Should own sales targets as per sales plan and achieve the same. Some of the actions needed for the same are listen herein, though not limited to these:
- Organize presentations to introduce new technologies/concepts adopted by the company
- Update customers on any new technologies and systems introduced by the company
- Maintain extremely good relations with key and primary end user accounts in the allocated regions
- Play a lead role in deciding bidding strategy for firm and budgetary proposals in conjunction with sales head and other regional teams. Knowing client preferences and competitive information plays a key role in winning the project
- Ensure complete and presentable proposal is prepared prior to submittal
- Prepare conceptual proposals
- Identify opportunities for cross selling other their lines in the region
- Post order support/co-ordination with client and head sales and other HODs
- Key account management and consistent results from key accounts.
- He will also be taking up active objective ownership in the current Market Focus plan for India.
- He will represent sales team in the divisional review meetings.
- He will provide support to all the regional sales managers on coordination efforts on various bids.
- He will also now take up preparation of pricing sheets for most of our projects — these will however continue to be reviewed by operations head.
- He will now oversee the commercial discussions for various bids with commercial team and support the RSMs in preparation of the final commercial proposal.
**Skills and requirements for the role**:
- B.E/B.Tech preferably with industrial selling experience.
- Minimum experience of 15+ years.
- Atleast 10 years in EPC/ water treatment company involved in projects selling to industrial clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Wastewater background (design and sales) will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹190,000.00 per month
