You will help manage and maintain the facilities of a site/office (excluding manufacturing and IT-related areas) to ensure a conducive and comfortable work environment in accordance to health, safety, environment and security policy, guidelines and requirements.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
- Coordinate and monitor the daily cleaning, maintenance and repairs for the site infrastructure (cafeteria, pantry, office area, internal mailing etc.), ensuring all vendor service levels are met and escalating and following up on any unresolved issues
- Lead all aspects of facilities management including technical installations of energy, maintenance, development and optimal availability and safety of on-premise activities in compliance with all relevant legal requirements
- Support the facilities requirements of all factory/office-related projects and investments related to the property and to some extent production
- Ensure that the company's electrical safety policy is complied with and that power-intensive electricity works are carried out under current rules
- Adhere to the budget and annual plan for the maintenance of the site/office and ensure timely vendor payments
- Establish and follow-up on comprehensive and detailed environmental objectives for the plant and disseminate information about these including energy consumption, water consumption and different emissions

- In-depth knowledge of the utilities necessary for the smooth functioning of the site/office (air conditioning, electrical wiring, piping, electric power distribution, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of current regulations in the fields of utilities and building management
- Responsiveness, anticipates issues ahead, highly organized personality
- Compliance with deadlines and costs
- Budgeting and budget monitoring
- Excellent use of IT (CMMS Coswin, SAP) and administrative tools
**More about this role**
This role will be responsible to lead all activities for Thane Technical Center that have interactions with the government. This role will be responsible to engage internal stakeholders to gather data to make statutory returns/fillings, respond to any information sought or notice served by the government authority. This role will act as a liaison between team responsible for the site compliance (HR, HSE & Facilities) and the respective government authority.
**What you need to know about this position**:
- Lead and execute contracts with vendors whose services are availed to meet compliance requirements. This includes, but not limited to external HSE Audits, Annual Medical Check Ups, Vaccinations, other HSE Assessments.
- Ensure the above contractors/vendors meet the compliance requirement and ensure proper documentation of the same.
- Front end any conversations with Government authorities for any compliance matter for site. This includes courtesy visits to authorities, visit by authorities at site and Inspection/audit on site.
- Lead and execute all compliance returns/fillings before due dates as prescribed by the respective authorities.
- Responsible to maintain all statutory registers, returns, licenses and other necessary relevant documentations.
- Maintaining and updating data on all government portals related to site.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance of facilities including Creche, Canteen & Occupational Health Center.
- Responsible for other site related initiatives that require one to liaison with government or local authorities.
- Organize and lead monthly compliance meeting with cross-functional team to check on compliance status for site
- Manage internal compliance portal and ensure timely closure of points by each action owner with relevant proof.

- Experience in dealing with Government Officials/Authorities
- Good Drafting and research skills
- Comfortable in handling Word, Excel and Powerpoint and to be able to present data clearly and concisely as required
