**Job Summary**:
As a Captain at Red Rhino, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service delivery. You will act as a leader, mentor, and point of contact for the service staff, while ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable brewery experience. You will also assist with training, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Experience**: Ensure guests are greeted promptly and seated appropriately. Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, respond to feedback, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- **Service Excellence**: Monitor and maintain service flow to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. Ensure that all staff members follow service protocols, upholding the brewery’s standards for quality and hospitality.
- **Training and Development**: Assist in training new staff members, ensuring they understand brewery policies, menu offerings, and customer service expectations.
- **Operational Management**: Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Ensure all health and safety standards are followed.
- **Inventory and Stocking**: Help maintain and monitor inventory levels, including beer supplies, food, and bar stock. Communicate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate service.
- **Communication**: Act as a liaison between the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations and to communicate guest needs and requests.
- **Event Coordination**: Assist in managing events, such as brewery tours, tastings, live music, and special promotions. Help ensure that events are executed efficiently and exceed guest expectations.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with brewery policies, health and safety regulations, and liquor laws.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a brewery, restaurant, or bar.
- Strong knowledge of craft beer, the brewing process, and beer styles is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive guest experience.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
