**Responsibilities**

- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure.
- Analyze and report on database performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management.

**Qualifications**
- Possess strong expertise in MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server administration.
- Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain.
- Exhibit proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Show capability in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies.
- Have a solid understanding of data security and integrity principles.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
