Job Profile:

- SQL Server DBA with 4+ yrs of hands-on experience on MS SQL Server Database Administration.
- Hands-on experience of deployment of new SQL environment, migration and managing existing setups.
- Must Handle SQL Server Individually.
- Can effectively communicate with customer's Dev and Ops team and strategies the deployment, upgradation, migration and Go-Live activities.
- Able to set up the SQL Server Environment Installing SQL Server standalone AlwaysOn and Setting up windows and SQL server clustering.
- Migrate 2005,2008 database to latest version of SQL server
- Migrate on-premises database to AWS cloud

EC2/RDS
- Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy.
- Coordinate with Network & various support team in case of any outages

Support DW & BI team in case of performance issue & educate the team with optimized design techniques
- Monitor database Backups and point in time

restore in case of failure.
- From time to time recover the databases to a specific point of time, as per the requests.
- Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases.
- Monitoring & troubleshooting SQL server Performance using SQLdiag, profilers and other monitoring tools.
- Create Logins and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need. Create linked server.
- Troubleshoot various problems that arise in a day-to-day work and fix the issues.
- Monitoring and Performance tuning: Physical Server Level, Database level and query tuning. Index and statistics, creation and maintenance.

Load bulk csv files into SQL server tables using SSIS.
- Refresh database in lower environment from upper environment periodically
- Deploy the SQL server scripts into various environment.

Mandatory:

- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Experience in 24X7 production support.
- Good Knowledge on AWS.

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
