**Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance and repair of **utility units** such as vacuum pumps and compressors.
- **Repairing and overhauling gearboxes**, including replacement and realignment.
- Performing **grinding, cutting, drilling, and tapping** operations using hand tools and machines.
- **Changing filters**, checking flow/pressure, and maintaining proper utility supply to machines.
- **Assembly and disassembly** of machinery during servicing or relocation.
- Diagnosing and **replacing worn-out parts** (bearings, seals, shafts, etc.) and ensuring accurate refitting.
- Routine preventive maintenance and reporting any major faults to the supervisor.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Fitter Trade preferred
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in **vacuum pump servicing, gearbox overhauling, and general mechanical repair**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (optional but preferred)
- Must be proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently or with a team
