**The Role**

As a Junior Product Owner/Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues, managing support tickets, gathering requirements, writing technical specifications (for custom development, system integrations, etc.) based on interactions directly with Product Owners and Developers. You will promote and ensure use of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Support the Product Manager/ Product Owner and Stakeholders driving the roadmap, based on insights, and champion this across your engineering teams.
- Support the Product Owner prioritizing and assigning support tickets
- Work with engineering and UX teams to capture technical requirements and design context.
- Document and summarise use cases, product requirements, and technical specs.
- Work with the product owner to help prioritise and refine the product backlog to ensure the quality of the product and that it solves the end-user/customer’s problem ahead of committing engineering resources.
- Help the engineering team to communicate effectively with other stakeholders in the organization, including Product Managers, Product Owners, and Designers.
- Identify any barriers that may impede the team's progress, and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved within the team.

**Essential**
- Knowledge of agile/lean software development lifecycle and activities including requirements capture, analysis, design, development, testing and user documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analysing data and processes to deliver insights, optimisations, and concept proposals.
- Experience of translating use cases and requirements into specifications and diagrams in collaboration with engineering and UX teams.
- An understanding of agile/lean values, principles, and frameworks
- Ability to analyse multiple types of data
- Strong ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Ability to identify and remove barriers to progress, and to escalate issues as necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Recognised Business Analysis qualification, preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, business, or service design) preferred, but not required
