**Position & Profile**: Production Planner / Production Coordinator

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and available production capacity.
- Coordinate closely with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, including leather, adhesives, soles, and accessories required for footwear production.
- Break down overall production targets into daily, weekly, and monthly plans, aligning them with customer demand and market forecasts.
- Create comprehensive production plans for cutting, stitching, assembling, and finishing processes to optimize workflow and minimize bottlenecks.
- Plan and manage the utilization of machinery and workforce to ensure optimal production efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges such as material shortages, machine breakdowns, or unexpected delays.
- Monitor production progress on a daily basis and adjust schedules proactively to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations.
- Accurately estimate the quantities of key materials required for upcoming production cycles and track consumption to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely restocking of raw materials and components to maintain uninterrupted production flow.

**Year of Experience**: 2-5 yrs

**Education** **Qualification**

Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Technology, Leather Technology, or Production Engineering from reputed institutions such as FDDI, CFTI, NIFT, or an equivalent recognized institute.

**Additional Qualifications**:
Strong understanding of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, and production stages (cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing, etc.).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, production efficiency techniques, and inventory control.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
