**Position & Profile***:Production Planner

**Purpose of Job **:The purpose of the Production Planner role in the Footwear Industry is to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of footwear products while meeting customer demand, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing resources. The production planner plays a critical role in the overall supply chain, acting as the link between sales forecasts, raw materials procurement, manufacturing processes, and final product delivery.

**Brief JD (List of Key Activities)**
- Plan and ensure the timely availability of raw materials, components, and accessories needed for production.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage vendor deliveries and minimize material shortages.
- Oversee the Purchase Order (PO) management process, including creation, exception handling, and managing order change requests.
- Analyze weekly unconfirmed POs and exceptions, ensuring appropriate resolution actions to maintain Confirmed Required Dates (CRD).
- Execute change memos and manage PO adjustments to align with business needs.
- Collaborate with Brands, Regional Teams, and Vendors to address exceptions and align on order change requirements.
- Coordinate production activities with departments such as procurement, warehousing, and quality assurance.
- Assess and plan factory production capacity, including labor and machinery.
- Recommend process improvements or additional resources to meet production targets.
- Act as a liaison between production teams, supply chain management, and sales departments to ensure clear communication of priorities and constraints.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding production status and potential risks.
- Ensure production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the factory.

**Specific Technical **:Proficiency in production planning tools (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar software). Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic production environments.

**Qualification**:
2-5 years of experience in production planning or a similar role within the footwear or manufacturing industry.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.

**Additional Qualifications**:
Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and materials.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
