**Job Title**: Finance Assistant

**Location**: Pune HO

**Job Summary**:We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Executive to oversee banking operations, with a special focus on managing cash credit facilities, bank guarantees, and customer relationships. This role involves liaising with financial institutions and customers to ensure smooth banking processes, timely submission of guarantees, and follow-ups for their return post-validity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Bank Guarantee Operations**:

- Prepare and submit necessary documents for issuance, renewal, and cancellation of bank guarantees.
- Ensure timely submission of bank guarantees to customers or relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of active guarantees, their validity, and associated project timelines.
- Proactively chase the return of expired bank guarantees after the completion of their validity period.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements for bank guarantees and address any queries.
- Ensure all guarantee-related documents are accurately prepared and submitted as per customer specifications.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction with banking processes.
- **Banking Transactions and Liaison**:

- Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, letters of credit, and other financial instruments.
- Negotiate terms, fees, and interest rates with banking institutions to optimize financial costs.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Ensure all banking and customer-facing documentation comply with legal and organizational standards.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on cash credit utilization, guarantee status, and associated costs.
- Provide actionable insights to improve efficiency in banking and customer-related processes.
- **Follow-Up and Issue Resolution**:

- Actively track and ensure timely closure of expired bank guarantees by following up with customers and banks.
- Address any issues related to guarantees or banking transactions promptly and efficiently.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in banking operations, cash credit, or trade finance (2-4 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of cash credit facilities, bank guarantees, and banking processes.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
