Business/ Finance
- Overseeing of the VC tapes in the lobby and ensure lobby being well presentable.
- Preparing and sharing the OPD statistics on daily basis to the respective in charge.
Operations
- Provides information about Doctors availability, Consultation time, appointments and booking the time slots for surgical procedures etc.
- To greet patient and understand their problems and guiding the patient to respective concerned doctor.
- Scheduling the appointments of the doctors and ensure patients go in according to their time slots.
- Overseeing the turnaround time of the doctors & managing their appointments accordingly.
- Calculating the ideal time of waiting of the patients.
- Maintaining the In time and out time of the doctors and managing their leaves.
- Maintaining the duty rota of the doctors and arranging the alternative doctors.
- Checking on the bills before sending patient into the consultation room.
- Explaining patient on the medication procedures and explaining on call medical prescription.
- Explaining the services, cost estimations and various packages to the visitors.
- Responsible to handle international patients and looking after their services from admission to follow up consultation.
- Checking on basic amenities in the consultant room (stationary) and looking after their requirements.
- Attend phone calls and provides necessary information/appointments.
- Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
- Addressing the pharmacy requirements and investigations as and when needed.
- Be aware of Hospital’s scope of services, emergency protocol, patient rights and responsibilities, doctor’s availability for the day.
- Maintaining the OPD patient’s records and front office registers.
People
- Coordinating with internal team for gathering necessary information in delivering the services
- Guide/ Support a team member/ new joinees in understanding the roles and responsibilities
- To attend the training programs organized by the department and contribute/ participate occasionally
Customer
- To assist patients in completing appropriate forms accurately.
- Coordinating with the all departments for front office operations.
- Coordinating Visiting consultants clinic.
- Collecting feedback forms from all OP patients
- Resolve all problems associated with patient billing if any.
« Any other portfolio that may be entrusted by the management from time to time.
**Educational Qualifications**:
B.Com
**Work Experience**
- Having 1-5 years of experience in hospital Industry
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Customer-oriented approach
