**Main duties and responsibilities are (but not limited to)**:

- Review credit bureau reports & commercial reports (like CIBIL, Experian) and background reports to determine degree of risk involved with providing unsecured business loans.
- Analyse UK businesses
- bank statements to validate if HMRC (VAT & PAYE) payments and to identify loan repayments
- Approve or decline business loans within the authority assigned, follow the underwriting criteria & guidelines, propose cases for approvals to senior manager which are above the approval limit.
- Analyse business operations, industry trends, and market conditions to assess the viability and risk associated with potential loan applicants.
- Utilize credit scoring models and risk assessment tools to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and determine appropriate loan terms and conditions.
- Monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios, conducting periodic reviews and risk assessments to identify potential credit issues and proactively address emerging risks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and enhancement of credit underwriting processes, policies, and procedures.

**Qualification and Skills**:
1. MBA in Finance, Accounting or a related field, CA. Professional certification is a plus but not a necessity.

**2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or underwriting, with a focus on SME loans or business loans in banks or NBFCs**

3. Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and credit risk assessment methodologies.

4. Proficiency in using credit scoring models, risk assessment tools, and financial analysis software.

5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound credit decisions.

6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

7. Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and drive business growth.

8. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹120,000.00 per month
