Payroll Administrator

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee our company's payroll processing and related activities. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of confidentiality.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, including salary, hourly, and contract workers.
- Calculate and input payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions, into the payroll system.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness, and address any discrepancies or issues with managers or employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, including paychecks, tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits.
- Process and reconcile employee expense reimbursements, travel allowances, and other payroll-related payments.
- Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and analyses for management and accounting purposes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Assist with payroll-related audits, inquiries, and investigations by providing documentation and information as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions and payments.
- Provide training and support to employees and managers on payroll processes, procedures, and systems.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately calculate figures and reconcile discrepancies
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues effectively and efficiently.
