Kolkata, India Pushan Placements Full time

**_We are looking for a Junior Coordinator (full-time position) who can work (remote/ in person). Who can do translation work on Excel or Google Sheet._**

The coordinator will work closely with the project managers and directors in relation to translation and validation work in native language.

**Responsibilities-**

1) Provide attractive and clear translations from English to native language _ and vice versa for NGO's website, promotional materials, and sentence corpus, including hard and soft copies of pamphlets and brochures, to diversify the content produced by Calcutta Foundation in order to appeal to the _ market. Provide contextualisation while keeping in mind the Indian context when translating.

2) Translate, review, and validate voice command and sentence corpus from _ language to English and vice versa.

3) Create a database of individuals and organisations fluent in/ operating in _ language region and English for future employment purposes.

5) Providing appropriate feedback on participant’s oral and written work.

6) Providing advice to Project Managers in relation to validation and translation.

7) Coordinate and track all information, activities, communication, documents, materials, supplies and data for assigned projects.

9) Perform assigned administrative tasks to support the team and projects.

10) Pitch ideas of projects which will appeal to the larger population.

11) Planning official schedules for those whose responsibilities you have been tasked to meet deadlines.

12) Keep up to date in latest developments to communicate it to participants and the Project Managers.

**Qualifications-**

1) Recent graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent.

4) Must have _ as their mother tongue/native language. _ language fluency
- written and verbal.

5) Ability to work flexible hours.

6) Excellent communication skills in both English and native languages.

- Punjabi translator: 1 year (preferred)
- Malayalam Translator: 1 year (preferred)
- Kannada Translator: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (preferred)
