As a Regulatory Governance Associate within our Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate IAS charter re-certifications and regulatory compliance submissions.
- Perform ongoing independent testing on selected operational processes aligned with key thematic areas to verify the stability of the production environment and identify any potential issues that require further remediation efforts.
- Validate previously identified issues to confirm they were effectively remediated.
- Perform breach incident root cause analysis and make recommendations for addressing identified deficiencies or improvements to business processes, present findings via formalized feedback loop process, track and monitor corrections to identified critical processes.
- Create practical training material and facilitate discussions with Operations that enhance risk learning for regulations impacting BAU (CASS, SGCA, CFSS, etc.).
- Prepare monthly governance presentations for various forums, emphasizing identified risks, current issues, and proposed remediation strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of charters, including onboarding and transitions.
- Ensure compliance with outsourcing documentation and IAS protocol requirements.
- Identify key issues, risks, trends, observations and provide reporting of results to key stakeholders and work with internal partners to ensure consistency with the Global QA framework and governance approach.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of Operations process and location strategy migration initiatives, from initial conception through to successful go-live. Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, alignment with strategic objectives, and adherence to timelines and quality standards.

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:

- Awareness of various regulators and governing bodies laws, rules, regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize urgent tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables.
- Proficiency in reference data management, data analytics, and data-driven storytelling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear executive messaging.
- Experience in managing large, diverse teams within a multinational environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to fluid changes and contribute based on business priorities.
- At least 5 years of experience with Financial Services industry, Regulatory Reporting/Compliance, or Quality Assurance background.

**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data and proven ability identifying issues/defects and recommending solutions.
- Demonstrated experience adhering to controls and compliance standards.
- Results-oriented team player and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines against a high volume work schedule and/or adhoc changes.
- Exceptional delegation skills, adept at balancing urgent business needs, routine operations, and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
