**Job Location**:Available for Mumbai or Gurugram

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Finding and fixing vessels and cargoes between owners, operators, and charterers.
- Maintaining a smooth dialogue with owners and charterers.
- Drafting charter parties and fixture notes.
- Solving any issues relating to the fixture concluded.
- Co-ordinating with agents, post fixture desk of owns/charterers and other brokers.
- Local and international business development and fact finding to increase company profile and build on existing and new relations with prospective clients.

**Minimum Experience Requirements**:2 years of direct proven dry bulk chartering/operations experience and the knowledge and skills relating to chartering to get going immediately without any formal training.

**Preferred Experience Requirements**:Existing relations/rapport with customers in dry bulk chartering is not a must but access to the same would be an added advantage.

**Minimum Education Requirements**:Graduate level complete.

**Preferred Education Requirements**:Dry Bulk Shipping specific course, MICS, etc., would be of advantage.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- An extensive international experience, a proven track record of effective customer relationship management and an established ability for global networking.
- Commercial acumen and an analytical skillset as well as strong business development and negotiation skills are all a prerequisite.
- Good command of the general terms and charter party clauses pertaining to dry bulk.
- Ability to relocate within India if required.
- Good eye for detail.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in dry bulk shipping sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong executor.
- Team player who has the discipline to work along with the team as well as collaborate and communicate effectively with external and internal members and meet pre-defined deadlines.
- Ability to achieve results in a demanding and challenging environment.

**Non-negotiable Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years in a dry bulk or tanker chartering/operations role handling post fixture or direct chartering related duties.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of Dry Bulk Chartering and having information about Dry Bulk Shipping.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
