Controls Safety - Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment. Electrical System Troubleshooting - Analyzes an electrical control system to resolve and repair electrical issues to return the system to proper operating conditions. Factory Automation and Control Systems - Implements changes to further automate manufacturing processes using available technology, programming techniques, and identifying needed material and resources for project completion to provide the optimum automation for the manufacturing environment. Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation. Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. **Education, Licenses, Certifications**: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience**: Minimal or no work experience required. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Skills Required: - ** Electrical power system Maintenance - capable to Assesses the condition of the power system, technical competency and skills related to power system, develop and operate power system for preventive maintenance that uses criticality analysis, predictive tool and prioritization Contractor Management - The method of managing contractors is an extension or supplement to inhouse resources. reviews Cummins safety and security procedures, incident reporting procedures. The creation and communication of the project plan (work instructions) to the contractor, the tracking of work performed, equipment modified, updates of drawings, etc. Extensive experience using the standard operating procedures. Can communicate with contractors regarding the contractor's manual and site safety procedures. Can assure the proper permits have been obtained and that a job plan with clear deliverables has been created prior to the start of work. Asset Utilization Management - Method of management of equipment which incorporates business objectives such as asset availability, product quality and overall equipment efficiency (OEE). Capable of calculating OEEs. Uses OEE data in decision making regarding improvements in maintenance plan versus equipment renovation. Utilizes Mean Time between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) data to adjust maintenance plan. Uses efficiency data and utilization data to influence decisions. Project Management - Capable of effectively managing complex projects with little to no guidance, Establish and maintain the " Balanced Triangle " of Scope, Schedule and Resource.
