**About Job**:
At WOTR, the Women Empowerment Team is a passionate team with stellar work that has been working in the villages to form SHGs, reduce drudgery, enable women to run micro-enterprises and effectively promote their leadership and decision making. Over the years, WOTR has helped form 14,729 SHGs supporting 171,512 women. Join the team and live the “not so ordinary” life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the regional team and the initiative to ensure thematic expansion and effectiveness in women empowerment and gender
- Support the regional manager towards effective implementation of the project and programs.
- Support and mentor the teams within regional office and build the women empowerment portfolio and gender mainstreaming
- Manage the technical implementation of the programme/project; ensure synergies with other thematic work within the region
- Assist in designing, planning, execution as well as assist in monitoring and reviewing of activities in the project area.
- Identify training needs, prepare training module and build capacities of the team members in region on women empowerment and gender theme
- Liaison and network with government programs and CSR - showcase the works of WOTR with specific focus on enhancing the work in the region.
- Finalize collaboratively the yearly work plan and budget, oversee its implementation and ensure goals/ Impact/ outcomes are achieved.
- Finalize and ensure timely submission of mandated reports (to donors and the management) meeting required standards on women and gender lens
- Identify and document best practices and lessons learned in the women and gender domain.
- Provide timely reports and data sets to supervisor/s at head office for data collation and representing the regional data
- Support the Women Empowerment theme lead in documenting and analyzing data and preparing SOP’s and thematic documents.
- Any other task assigned by the organization towards effective functioning
- A strong desire to transform the lives of poor rural women decisively, systemically and sustainably at scale.
- A master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, management, human rights, gender/women’s studies.
- Strong knowledge of gender equality and women's economic, social and political empowerment
- A proven track record and at least 8 years of field experience (of which at least 3 years are at leadership/managerial level) in designing, implementing and monitoring women’s empowerment, income generating and market access projects/programs at regional level.
- Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to synthesize program performance data and produce analytical reports to inform management and strategic decision-making;
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong relationships with colleagues and different stakeholders.
- Good mentoring and team building skills that foster innovation, creativity, risk-taking and leadership in the team.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Comfort with speaking and writing in Hindi and English. Knowing regional will be an advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
