A journal publisher manages the publishing process for a journal, including acquiring content, working with authors and editors, and overseeing production and marketing.

**Responsibilities**:
Content acquisition: Review potential materials for publishing, and negotiate terms with creators and managers

Collaboration: Work with authors and editors to improve the text, and collaborate with design professionals to create layouts and cover designs

Production: Develop timelines for production, and oversee the production process

Marketing: Develop and execute marketing campaigns, and organize promotional events

Sales: Liaise with sales teams and booksellers to ensure the content reaches the target audience

Operations: Oversee all departments within the company, including editorial and production
