**Job Title: Chef**

**About the company**:Dohful is a Cookies and coffee company. In 2018, we began as an online cookie company delivering cookies across India. Last year, we established two outlets within five months, from August to December - one in Hauz Khas and another in Noida. We plan to expand it to 15 stores by the end of this year.

We are looking for a chef who can help us design our food menu for the offline stores.

**Job Overview**:
Overseeing the culinary operations in a cafe setting, ensuring the preparation of high-quality food items and maintaining a diverse menu that aligns with the our theme and customer preferences.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Development**:

- Create and update the food menu, considering customer preferences, dietary trends, and our concept.
- Develop innovative and appealing dishes suitable for a cafe environment.
- **Food Preparation**:

- Oversee the preparation of food menu items, including sandwiches, wraps, bowls and other light meals.
- Ensure that food items are prepared efficiently and meet quality standards.
- **Quality and Presentation**:

- Maintain high standards of food quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Pay attention to the visual appeal of food items to enhance the store's atmosphere.
- **Kitchen Management**:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Train and supervise kitchen personnel in the preparation and presentation of the dishes.
- **Supplier Relations**:

- Manage relationships with food suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh and quality ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Interact with customers to understand their preferences and gather feedback.
- Adapt the menu based on customer preferences and feedback.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
- Implement proper sanitation practices in the kitchen.
- **Cost Control**:

- Control food costs by managing portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing ingredient usage.
- Work within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Culinary Education**:

- Formal education in culinary arts or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience as a chef or in a similar role of up to 5 years, preferably in a cafe or casual dining setting
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in preparing a variety of cafe-style dishes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and interacting with customers.
- **Creativity**:

- Ability to create unique and appealing food menu items.
- **Adaptability**:

- Flexibility to adjust to changing customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- **Knowledge**:

- Awareness of cafe trends, food safety standards, and local health regulations.

A Chef plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our customers, combining culinary expertise with creativity and a customer-focused approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
