**Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Quantity Surveyor (QS)** to join our growing team in Chennai and support ARBT’s prefab and modular construction projects in Australia. The QS will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender documentation, and commercial reporting in alignment with Australian construction standards and prefab practices.

This role involves close coordination with ARBT's design and project teams and offers exposure to international workflows, digital tools, and prefab technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and tender documentation in line with Australian construction standards.
- Conduct cost analysis, rate build-ups, and value engineering for prefabricated and modular construction elements.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to support procurement decisions.
- Monitor and report on project budgets, progress claims, cost variations, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment between project scope and budget.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian cost standards (e.g., NCC, AS 2124/4000 - training provided if required).
- Maintain and update cost databases, unit rate libraries, and historical pricing data.
- Support project teams with commercial insights and financial forecasting.

**Role Requirements**
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation.
- Experience in prefab/modular construction is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Australian construction practices and standards is an advantage (training can be provided).
- Proficiency in digital QS tools such as **CostX**, **Bluebeam**, or **Cubit**.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
