Job Description - Jira Administrator

Over 3+ years of extensive experience in administering Atlassian Data Center products, demonstrating proficiency in configuration, maintenance, and administration of key Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd, and PostgreSQL database.
- Proven track record in the installation and upgrading of Atlassian products, coupled with the ability to evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to align with team and business requirements.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective and clear interaction with stakeholders. Swiftly address issues in collaboration with fellow administrators, partner teams, and Atlassian premier support, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Proficient in crafting intricate JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes. Expertise includes gathering business process requirements and devising strategies to optimize and enhance the build and configuration of JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Crowd.
- Well-versed in both Scrum and Kanban methodologies, providing a comprehensive understanding of agile project management approaches. Collaborate with business users to assess JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Crowd plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and execute rigorous testing, installation, and configuration of these plug-ins.
- Additional skills include knowledge of Script Runner, adding value to the proficiency. Prior experience in Linux administration is preferred, enhancing the overall skill set.
