**What You’ll Be Doing**
- **Building & Enhancing APIs** - Design and develop RESTful APIs using **Node.js and Express.js** (or similar frameworks).
- **Database Integration** - Work with **PostgreSQL**, craft optimized queries, and manage data flow.
- **System Performance** - Contribute to building services that are fast, secure, and scalable.
- **Bug-Squashing & Debugging** - Diagnose issues, fix bugs, and ensure systems run smoothly.
- **Continuous Learning** - Stay current with backend best practices and bring fresh thinking to the team.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Comfortable writing clean, maintainable code in **JavaScript or TypeScript**.
- Familiarity with **Node.js**, Express.js (or other backend frameworks), and API development.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (**PostgreSQL preferred**) and data modeling.
- A curious mind and problem-solving mindset—we value initiative and critical thinking.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
