As part of our core tech team, you'll work directly with the founder—solving real problems, shipping production code, and helping us build the backbone of Medzillo's technology.

What You'll Do

  • Debug and fix issues in existing backend systems and APIs.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Assist in designing and implementing new features in coordination with the product team.
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices for backend architecture.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of , Express.
  • Experience working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Good problem-solving skills and debugging ability.
  • Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
  • Basic understanding of (for deployment and backend hosting).
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and API design.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of authentication and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
  • Interest in scalable systems and microservices architecture.
