**Network Associate**:
Network associates typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Installing and configuring network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshooting network problems by analyzing data from logs and other sources to identify the cause of the issue
- Installing and configuring computer operating systems such as Microsoft Windows or Linux
- Maintaining network equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing failed components or updating software
- Providing technical support for computer networks by answering user questions about hardware or software issues
- Installing and configuring telecommunication equipment such as modems, routers, and other hardware devices
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Installing new network equipment and integrating existing network components into a cohesive system
- Performs routine network maintenance i.e. network servers, routers and switches.
- Creates new users and associated file access rights.
- Identifies and resolves computer and network problems.
- Installs cabling and wiring for systems, telecommunication systems and peripheral equipment.
- Conducts troubleshooting on assigned user rights, file access, security settings, server and server communication, and enterprise print systems.
- Conducts system and database backups as necessary;
- Provides assistance to information systems staff in the evaluation, selection, acquisition and implementation of computer hardware and software.
- Monitors antivirus definition updates for servers/desktops.
- Provides technical training to end users.
- CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.

**Network Associate Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of general E-mail and other collaboration technologies.
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure device installation, configuration and maintenance (i.e. firewalls, routers, switches).
- Knowledge of network servers, storage systems and maintenance.
- Knowledge of network connectivity.
- Knowledge of computer network operations limited to moderate scope.
- Ability to learn and utilize general networking protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot end user network access.
- Ability to perform basic purchasing.
- Ability to work independently with occasional supervision.
- CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
