An Import General Manifest (IGM) and Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment (SCMTR) professional is responsible for managing and coordinating import shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and handling related documentation. Key responsibilities typically include:

- **Coordinating Import Shipments**: Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and Custom House Agents (CHA) to manage the import process efficiently.
- **IGM Filing**: Preparing and filing the Import General Manifest in compliance with customs requirements.
- **Documentation Management**: Arranging commercial invoices, packing lists, and other necessary documents from suppliers; providing these to the CHA and arranging checklists.
- **Pre and Post Shipment Documentation**: Handling all documentation related to shipments before and after they arrive.
- **CMC Letter Preparation**: Preparing Container Movement Certificates (CMC) and obtaining necessary permissions for container movement.
- **Invoice Verification**: Checking and clearing invoices from terminals and vendors to ensure accuracy.
- **Re-export Management**: Overseeing the process for re-exporting containers when necessary.
- **EDI Coordination**: Following up with Main Line Operators (MLOs) for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files from platforms like ODEX.
- **Job Order Management**: Sending en-block movement job orders to respective Container Freight Stations (CFS).
- **Cost Management**: Handling costing related to import operations.
- **Damage and Detention Handling**: Managing offloading processes, collecting information on damages, and raising invoices for damages or detention as necessary.

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
